After requesting a contractor on Service Magic, Kim (the owner) called me within 5 minutes! He also squeezed us into the schedule the next week so that our floors could be done before we moved our furniture in. Everyone on the crew was very nice. We had the carpet ripped out, hardwoood floors refinished, and several areas repaired (new boards, old nail holes filled, etc) in 2 large rooms for around $1500. They were very fast and had it done in 1 day. After that we waited 1 day to walk on the floors and 2 days to pur our furniture in the house. The floors look beautiful and we plan on contacting them again to do our upstairs!

Affordable wood floors did an awesome job refinishing the floors in our 80 year old home. The maple floors look elegant. Kim was great to work with. He met our scheduling need, sent extra crew to finish up early, communicated every step of the way, checked on the work frequently, and the bid was competitive. The crew was detail oriented, professional, and friendly. They did a repair on a bad area and you can’t even tell there was problem. It’s wonderful to get such good customer service and quality work at an affordable price. No question I would recommend them to anyone who needs floor refinishing.

Very professional, and the three man crew did an outstanding job!!! My wife and i are amazed at how great the three rooms and hallway looks. Family and friends think we spent thousands on new floors. I was very impressed with Affordable Wood Floors. Very fast with getting an estimate, quickly scheduled the days needed to tear out old floor and put in new floor. I am very impressed with the quality of work they did. What impressed me most was during the estimate Kim did not pressure me into buying the most expensive wood floor, but discussed with me the best floor to get within my price range. It was so nice not to be pressured into buying the expensive flooring. He was always very quick to return phone calls and was willing to work my insurance company. I would recommend them to everybody!

Great first impression. Had great information about wood floors, was the best price compared to other quality companies. Kim put the quality of your floors, the best look, and the overall happiness of the customer …before how much he was going to make. Flexible and Fast work. They finished our 684 sq. ft area in 3 days. We removed all debris and prepared the area. Minor technicalities with the guys who performed the job. Kim was only on site to start the project, talk through any negotiations, and in the end of the project.

Extremely happy with the service. Of the estimates I had, they were the lowest price. We had about 500 square feet of flooring redone (removing carpeting and refinishing existing hardwood floors) and installing two new wood floor vents. They completely finished the job in one day, with virtually no dust. The floors were dry enough to walk on the next day, and we could move furniture onto them a couple of days later. Working with Kim was a pleasure. He was very friendly and professional, listened to what we wanted and found solutions that worked for us. I have already (and will continue to) recommended them to others. Outstanding work!

I had terrible linoleum in my kitchen. We tried to tear it out ourselves and ended up with a sticky black mess. We were contacted by Kim through “service magic”. He came out and gave us an estimate, he was the second to lowest bidder. He said his crew would strip the adhesive, sand, and finish the floor all in one day. We hired him. To my disbelief they were in and out in less than 8 hours. We love our floors, and so glad we went with Kim to refinish our original wood floors as opposed to putting tile or more linoleum over them. They turned out beautifully. We will be choosing him to refinish the rest of our home’s wood floors.

The whole pocess was smooth and easy. The installation was done in a timely manner and the clean up after the install was great. The only issue I had was a request to have the installers call me before going for the install to allow me time to get there but they had a job rescheduling that put them at my install much sooner than expected, Fortunately, I am flexible so it was not a big deal and when they called and said they were there, they did wait for me to arrive.

These guys worked there tails off on our house. We had carpeted porch with glue and tar paper underneath which they ripped off and took care of . We also had layers of old floor, plywood and hundreds of staples in our kitchen floor and they still got the job done on time and the floors look great. Kim was a pleasure to work with.
